Yes, this is it, this is your chance to evolve to a new level of diving way beyond what most divers could ever hope to achieve. Our PADI Divemaster Program is run over a minimum three month period, with a varying level of demand on your time. Your PADI Divemaster course will comprise elements of knowledge development work in the classroom, skill training sessions in the pool and open water whilst you also work within an existing training team in a hands on role. In addition to these scheduled parts of your program, you will also need to complete several self study team projects and homework portions along the way.
The specific dates of your course will be confirmed when you apply. There are of course additional components to your course such as the internship work, mapping exercise and a risk assessment project, along with a large amount of self study, but as a PADI Divemaster managing your own time is also a skill in itself.
The internship portion of your course will throw you into a real training environment, almost immediately, where you will start to experience what can really happen. This is probably the most enjoyable and definitely the most rewarding part of the Divemaster Program, it really does give you a huge buzz the first time you really do help someone complete that difficult skill or re-assure them when they are a little apprehensive. Once you are qualified that great buzz feeling is open for the taking as often as you want, because once qualified you are always more than welcome to join our existing Dive Team.
